1. When the inertia of the driven component is high, if it is required to achieve braking or reverse or smooth operation in a short period of time, a safety valve buffer should be installed in the return oil circuit to prevent sudden hydraulic shock from causing damage accidents.
2. When hydraulic motors are used as power components for lifting tools or walking devices, speed limiting valves must be installed to prevent heavy objects from falling rapidly or vehicles or other walking mechanisms from overspeeding when going downhill, which can cause serious accidents. When using a quantitative motor, if smooth starting and stopping are desired, necessary pressure control or flow control methods should be adopted in the circuit design.
3. Due to the constant leakage of hydraulic motors, if the inlet and outlet of the hydraulic motor are closed for braking, there will still be slow slippage. When long-term braking is required, a separate brake should be installed to prevent rotation.
4. When full load starting is required, attention should be paid to the starting torque value of the hydraulic motor, as the starting torque of the hydraulic motor is smaller than the rated torque. If ignored, it will cause the working mechanism to fail to operate. Due to the higher back pressure of the hydraulic motor's return oil compared to atmospheric pressure, the motor's drain pipe must be separately led back to the oil tank and cannot be connected to the hydraulic motor's return oil pipeline.
